Building out a studio and hiring staff to operate all the equipment takes a lot of time, money, and expertise. For most people, it’s not feasible to build out and run their very own studio. And we haven’t even mentioned editing, colour correction, graphics, and sound design yet!

At Piixel our operators and editors have over 15 years of experience creating content so you’ll look professional from day 1—at a fraction of the cost of doing it all in-house.

If you’re wanting to record consistent and high-quality content, a membership is a great fit for you.

Our official policy is that your monthly allotment of studio hours resets on the first day of your billing cycle. In other words, if you don’t use it, you lose it.

However, we totally understand that life happens. Every now and then you can get busy and can’t make it into the studio to record. When that happens, we’re more than happy to roll over any used hours to the following month.

Uur studio can accommodate up to a 4 person podcast.

There are two packages which come with podcast or content editing:

1. If you have purchased a package of at least 6 podcast episodes it comes with 2 rounds of edits per episode.

2. Every studio member receives unlimited editing. Here’s what you get with our unlimited editing services:

• A dedicated editor to work and grow with you
• A personalized dashboard to track all of your content and editing requests
• Unlimited requests of all footage shot in our studio
• We work with 1 request at a time
• 24 - 48 hour turn around time per request
• Animated subtitles on vertical short videos
• Basic on screen text animations
• Lower third animations

Note: we only work with footage that was recorded in our studio with our cameras.

The only thing you need to consider is how you will like to take home your raw audio and video files. We have two options:

You can bring your own SSD with you and after you finish recording we’ll transfer all your raw files to your drive. Make sure your drive has a large capacity of at least 500 GB and is a solid state.

Alternatively, we can deliver all raw audio and video files to you via the cloud for $50 per recording session.

If you choose to have us deliver your raw files to you in the cloud, you’ll receive them typically within 2-4 hours after your session.

When editing for you, typically turn around times are within 72 hours (3 days) of recording.

If you find yourself wanting to come in regularly, we offer bundles of 50, 100, or 150 hours of studio time which can save you up to 20% on studio rentals!

Absolutely!

While we do focus on podcasting, our studio is equipped with professional cameras, lights, microphones, and a wide range of video equipment. Whether you are imagining filming YouTube videos, your next Masterclass or social media reels, our studio has the space for you.

The cost to book the studio is the same cost whether you use our cameras or not. Even if you don’t want video, we highly recommend that you record video anyway as you may change your mind in the future about wanting video.

We offer full refunds from single online bookings if given at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancelations between 48 and 24 hours’ notice will be 50% refunded. Anything less than 24 hours will not be refunded.

Rescheduling of a single paid booking can be done once and requires at least 24 hours’ notice. Anything less is not eligible for rescheduling or refund.

We do not issue any refunds for our full-service content memberships. Plans can be cancelled anytime and any studio time remaining will be still available to you. For example, if your membership cycle starts on the 15^th of each month and you cancel on the 1^st, you will still be able to use the remaining studio time you have up until the 15^th. We will continue to work with you to edit all videos recorded up until your end date.
