Building out a studio and hiring staff to operate all the equipment takes a lot of time, money, and expertise. For most people, it’s not feasible to build out and run their very own studio. And we haven’t even mentioned editing yet!

At Piixel our operators and editors have over a 15 years of experience creating content so you’ll look professional from day 1—at a fraction of the cost of doing all in-house.

Currently our studio can accommodate up to a 2 person podcast. We aim to expand our studio space to accomodate a 4 person podcast in spring 2026.

If you are not a members, we recommend you purchase a media kit which includes 4 SD cards (3x 256 GB SD and 1x 64 GB microSD) and a hard shell carrying case. All your audio and video will be recorded on these cards and are yours to take home with you after every recording session. The media kit is a one time purchase of $450 and can be purchased in our studio when you arrive.

Alternatively, we can deliver all files to you via the cloud for $50 per recording session.

We provide editing services for clients who purchase a Studio + Editing Membership which comes with unlimited editing services or a Podcast Season Bundle.

We typically don’t provide editing for one-off studio rental, best to contact us (studio@piixel.ca) to discuss your project to see if we’ll be a good fit to edit your content.

If you choose to have us deliver your raw files to you in the cloud, you’ll receive them typically within 2-4 hours after your session.

When editing for you, typically turn around times are within 72 hours (3 days) of recording.

While we do focus on podcasting, our studio is equipped with professional cameras, lights, microphones, and a wide range of video equipment. Whether you are imagining filming YouTube videos, your next Masterclass or social media reels, our studio has the space for you.

If you’re unsure if our space is right for you, get in touch with us to discuss your project and we’ll let you know if our space is right for you.

The cost to book the studio is the same cost whether you use our cameras or not. Even if you don’t want video, we highly recommend that you record video anyway as you may change your mind in the future about wanting video.

We offer full refunds from single online bookings if given at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancelations between 48 and 24 hours’ notice will be 50% refunded. Anything less than 24 hours will not be refunded.

Rescheduling of a single paid booking can be done once and requires at least 24 hours’ notice. Anything less is not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
